The Awards celebrate the greatest ahievements in asset management.
The winners were decided by an independent judging panel comprising Alastair O'Dell, editor of Global Investor/ISF; John Redwood MP, co-founder of Evercore Pan Asset; Penny Green, associate at BESTrustees and chief executive of SAUL.
The remaining judges included Kim Nash, client director of PTL; Steve Delo, chief executive of PAN Governance; and Ben Gunnee, European director of Mercer Sentinel Group.
Global Investor/ISF editor Alastair O’Dell said: “The submissions for this year’s awards were exceptional. It is very reassuring to see such strong performance and intelligent innovation in difficult market conditions. It bodes extremely well for the future of our industry.”
“The Global Investor/ISF Investment Excellence Awards continue to gain in stature every year. This year we received a record amount of nominations and competition was fierce across all categories. The independent panel of judges were hugely impressed by the quality of nominations.”
Insight Investment picked up the prestigious asset manager of the year award while Investec Asset Management was highly commended in this category. The CEO of the year award went to Graham Tuckwell of ETF securities.
Ashmore Group won global equities manager while PIMCO picked up the global fixed income manager award.
